INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING??
 
First Aid- Respond to anyone who is in need of immediate attention during the walk.  If any type of aid is provided then the person’s name and contact number will need to be recorded as well as a brief description of the incident.
Parking Lot-Assist all incoming and outgoing traffic in relation to the 5k Walk/Run.  Direct all incoming traffic to the permitted parking locations.
Guides-Guide persons to all appropriate areas. (registration, start, t-shirt etc)
Spotters-Stand throughout the course to direct runners/walkers on where to go and to make sure that everything is ok with the participants.
Encouragers-Provide audible and visual support to the runners and walkers during the event.  Assist anyone to a seated area who may need to rest, prior to finishing the walk/run.
Water- Provide water to all runners/walkers at your designated area.  You will also need to make sure to alert any Spotter when your water supply is low.
Bibs- Put number bibs and pins on walk/run  participants.
Set up and clean up crew- Assist in setting up signs, start/finish line, putting out prizes, snacks..........Breaking down when walk is over.
